JONESBORO (AP) — Arkansas State Police say the commander of a Criminal Investigation Division was suspended without pay for a week in December.

An investigative file released Wednesday says Lt. Brant Tosh violated several department policies, including unbecoming conduct, telling agents not to file for overtime, using agents and inmates for personal work and driving his state police vehicle for personal use.

Tosh is commander of CID Troop F based in Jonesboro. His father is Republican state Rep. Dwight Tosh, who is a retired state police captain.

The file says Brant Tosh initially denied violating policy, but it shows he signed a disciplinary agreement in which he admitted to the policy violations.
