SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — A man died and a woman was badly injured Tuesday (Jan. 12) in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 412 in Springdale.
The crash happened at 7:55 a.m. in front of Sonora Middle School, according to Arkansas State Police.
The drivers were identified as Jeremy White, 31, of Springdale and Kristen Hallmark, 31, of Springdale, the ASP report shows.
White was driving a Toyota Highlander west and Hallmark was driving a Chevy Suburban east when White crossed over the turning lane and into the westbound lanes in front of Hallmark, according to the report.
White died on scene and there was a minor passenger in his vehicle, the report states. The minor’s condition is unknown.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up for Hallmark. According to the account, Hallmark has a broken back, two broken femurs, a crushed left foot and fractured pelvis.
