BELLA VISTA (KFSM) — A 77-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of rape and sexual assault on Friday (July 22).
John Longnecker, of Bella Vista, is accused of touching three neighborhood children.
Police stated a neighbor reported to police after overhearing two children, ages 6 and 8, speaking about it.
He faces two counts of rape and four counts of second-degree sexual assault. He is being held at the Benton County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
