SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) – The Roland Fire Department responded to an RV fire on I-40 eastbound Friday ( Aug. 29) around 7:15 a.m.
According to authorities, the driver of the RV was headed eastbound between Roland and Dora when the engine caught fire. It then spread to propane tanks on board the vehicle, causing it to become engulfed.
One man was inside, however they made it out without any injuries, according to authorities on scene.
Traffic was heavily backed up for about 20 minutes, however the scene is now clear.
