Hazardous Materials crews responded Friday afternoon to a fuel spill in Springdale after a car reportedly crashed into a gas station's fuel pump.
Springdale emergency crews responded shortly before 5 p.m. to the FastTraxx gas station on Thompson Street. No injuries were reported, but fuel spilled from the crash site and started spreading, according to the Springdale Fire Department.
The spreading of the fuel was stopped about one hour later, and crews cleaned up the spill.
The spill did not reach traffic on Highway 71B.
