The sights, smells and sounds of an annual event in Northwest Arkansas is attracting hundreds of people from across the region.
The 61st Annual Prairie Grove Clothesline Fair is being held this Labor Day weekend. More than 200 arts and crafts vendors are spread out across the historic Prairie Grove Battlefield Park.
People are finding everything from tasty treats to home décor and handmade items.
“I’ve already been around looking at all the crafts, and there’s some cool stuff out here,” said craft-goer Jerry Myers on Sunday. “I bought a quilt for a king size bed, and, well, my wife is going to think it’s wonderful.”
There are also living history programs, music and square dancing.
Admission is free. Monday is the last day of the fair, wrapping up around 3 p.m.
