A survivor of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting was in Paris Friday (Feb. 7) to talk with students about bullying.
Evan Todd was in the library of the Colorado school when two students went on a shooting rampage. Todd was shot one time and his survival has prompted him to help others. “Ever since I survived I always had this feeling that I was given a second chance at life and that I needed to do something good,” said Todd.
Todd spoke at Paris Middle School and High School.
Paris Middle School has a no tolerance policy on bullying, according to Principal Martha Dodson.
