BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – A convicted sex offender has returned to Benton County for his next court date, according to the Benton County Detention Center intake report.
Bradley D. Page, 63, was brought from the Arkansas Department of Corrections, where he was serving a 10-year sentence for failing to register as a sex offender, to the Benton County Detention Center on Monday (Aug. 15) for his next court date, the jail’s intake report states.
He was convicted and sentenced for failing to register as a sex offender on Jan. 27, 2014, according to court documents.
Page is scheduled to be in court on Oct. 2 at 8:30 a.m. for a pretrial hearing on an unrelated sexual assault charge. His jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m., according to court documents.
Page is a convicted level four sex offender from Malvern, according to the National Sex Offender Public Website.
The unrelated sexual assault charge stemmed from incidents that occurred in Feb. 2012 when Page worked at a Braum’s ice cream store, according to court documents.
Page inappropriately touched a coworker multiple times, having to be reprimanded after each occurrence. He was fired after sneaking up behind the same coworker and touching her inappropriately one night when she was doing work on the restaurant’s computer, court documents state.
When she realized what was happening, she turned around and saw Page touching her. She screamed, and Page was fired not long after, according to court documents.
Authorities collected statements from the victim’s coworkers that matched her own story, and an arrest warrant was issued for Page on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault, court documents state.
