BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art acquired a Frank Lloyd Wright House last year, and the home is slated to open to the public on Nov. 11, according to a press release from the museum.
The house is being assembled on Crystal Bridges’ grounds, the release states. It was originally built in 1954 along the Millstone River in New Jersey, but the area was prone to flooding. The previous owners, Lawrence and Sharon Tarantino, decided that the best preservation option would be relocating the home.
The home is in the final stages of construction and is scheduled to open on the fourth anniversary of Crystal Bridges’ opening.
