Coach Bobby Petrino still has a job for now. The University of Arkansas confirmed Jessica Dorrell, the passenger on the motorcycle, is still listed as an employee.
Monday the University of Arkansas Athletic Department would not say anything expect the Petrino review is ongoing. They would not say if Dorrell was at work on Monday.
University officials would not say if Dorrell took vacation, personal, or comp time. A spokesperson says the university will not give out personnel information about employees, which includes if the person is at work or on vacation.
Dorrell is the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator.
According to a U of A spokesperson Dorrell makes nearly $56,000 per year. The person who held the job before her, Dann Kabala, now works for the University of Pittsburgh. Athletic Director Jeff Long worked at Pittsburgh before coming to the University of Arkansas.
Dorrell accepted the new position in late March, just days before the motorcycle accident with Petrino.
Dorrell played volleyball at the U of A. She also worked with the Razorback Foundation.
