A local bank manager appeared on the popular game show "Wheel of Fortune" on Tuesday, taking home the top prize.
Carol Waddle, a senior vice president for Signature Bank of Arkansas in Fayetteville, identified the Pacific island of BORA BORA in the bonus round to win a MINI Cooper Convertible worth $31,300. She took home a total of $52,980 after beating out two other contestants to appear in the bonus round.
Waddle held a watch party at the Foghorn's sports bar on Green Acres Road in Fayetteville with friends and family who showed support. She said she recorded the show three months in advance of Tuesday's showing.
"It was lots of fun, but it was nerve-racking," she told 5NEWS at the watch party. "It was a great experience."
