FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- FFO Home corporate headquarters has moved from Muldrow to Fort Smith.
The retail furniture and manufacturer moved the corporate headquarters in a 185,000 square foot part of a building that used to be a section of the old Whirlpool warehouse in Fort Smith.
The building is currently owned by Spartan Logistics and is around 620,00 total square feet.
"We've added 65 jobs here. That's in addition to the 17 stores we have across Arkansas," said FFO Home Ceo Larry Zigerelli.
FFO Home also has 12 stores in Missouri, five in Oklahoma and two in Kansas.
Before acquiring the building in Fort Smith Zigerelli said the operation in Muldrow was separated. He said different departments were in separate buildings. He said the company outgrew the Muldrow location.
The FFO Home corporate headquarters still has plenty of space that Zigerelli said the company plans to utilize.
"We intend to triple the business in the next 7-10 years, and that means we are going to open 5-6 stores a year.," Zigerelli said.
FFO has been in Arkansas since 1984, when the first store was opened on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith.
