Former Arkansas Razorbacks point guard Corey Beck, a member of the 1994 national championship team, was arrested Saturday for failure to pay fines and costs.
Beck was booked into the Washington County Detention Center just before 1 p.m. and released on a $650 bond about an hour later, according to the Sheriff’s Department website. A warrant was issued by Fayetteville District Court Judge Rudy Moore Jr. in November 2012.
The fines originated for a conviction for driving while intoxicated and traffic charges in 2011, police said.
Beck, 41, helped the Razorback win the 1994 national title and reach the 1994 championship game. He later played professionally in the NBA and in Europe.
