RED OAK, Okla. (KFSM) -- Peyton Bryce asked her mom to set up a lemonade stand after a conversation they had one day.
"I was telling her one day that she should be really thankful and feel blessed for all the things she has because there are some kids that don't even have shoes or clothes. She just said, 'well let's go buy them some'," Shiann Bryce said. "I told her if she wanted to do some chores or raise money we could go make a donation some where and she decided she wanted to have a lemonade stand."
Her mother, Shiann Bryce, built the stand and decorated it, but Peyton always helps make lemonade and hand it out.
The Bryce family said the first day of having the stand open, they made over $700.
"We are just beyond proud because how many four-year-olds say, 'Hey let's just go help all these kids'," Shiann Bryce said.
Peyton has sold and earned more than $1,000. She plans to give the money to kids from the Red Oak school district before they start school in the fall. ??/said through the angel tree program they will select kids in need.
