Both kids and kids at heart will have a fun and Razorback filled weekend at the University of Arkansas' football stadium.

Coordinator Blake Brandes said the 10th annual Razorfest is set to begin Saturday (April 26) at 10 a.m.

The festival will have booths, games, giveaways and fun for the whole family--- and it's free.

"There will be free games and free fun for kids and families. It's a great way to learn about non profits in the area and to have a fantastic time at the football game. It's a fun day for families in Northwest Arkansas,” Brandes said.

His organization Champions for Kids has been the main organizer of the event for the last decade. He said this year they added a food drive.

He said he wants to urge the community to bring out canned foods that can be dropped off in the North parking lot to help benefit local food banks.

Brandes said that while most parents enjoy the lack of price tag, kids enjoy the activities the most.

"The fun zone is always our most popular area. They have bouncy castles and all kinds of games for kids, as well as face painting to help have a great day all day long," Brandes said.

Razorfest begins at 10 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m. More information on the festivities can be found here.

Associate athletic director Kevin Trainor said having Razorfest in the morning helps bring fans into the stands for the 1 p.m. Red-White Spring Game.

"Last year we set a record with 50,000 people in the stadium. This year we are hoping to have another great crowd, but it’s not just about the game itself. It's about all the activities and supporting this team as they get ready for the 2014 season," Trainor said.

He said that past Razorback football players will be signing memorabilia for fans during Razorfest.

He said fans can also view the new football uniforms revealed Monday (April 21). The uniforms will be on display at the Hog Heaven store in the South end food court so that fans can get an up close look.

The players will not be wearing the new uniforms for the Red-White game.

Trainor said football is not the only sporting activity happening Saturday. Because of severe weather coming in Sunday, he said they moved the Razorback double header against Auburn to Saturday starting at 4 p.m.

"What turned into a big day for Razorback athletics really turned into an even bigger day with adding two baseball games, so we want to see everybody out here Saturday," Trainor said.
