GREENWOOD (KFSM) – A 16-year-old girl was arrested following an investigation into a bomb threat evacuation at the Greenwood High School on Friday morning (Oct. 10), police say.
She is a sophomore and faces a felony charge of communicating a false alarm, according to police.
Students returned to class at approximately 2 p.m., authorities said.
The threat was found within the high school campus, but after a sweep of the building, authorities found nothing, according to police.
The entire school was evacuated, and students and faculty were moved to a safe place, police said.
