A fourth man was arrested in the shooting yesterday in Fayetteville that sent one man to the hospital.

Andrew Wilson-Moore, 25, was arrested Friday evening. He faces charges of committing a terroristic act and engaging in violent group activity.

Wilson-Moore is accused of firing a gun from a gray Isuzu Rodeo as he drove past a "rival group" during a disturbance Thursday on North Boxley Avenue, an arrest report states.

Wilson-Moore told police he fired the weapon to scare people not to "kill anyone," the report states.

Police haven't released the name of the man who was shot and injured in the disturbance. He remains in Washington Regional Medical Center with injuries police have said are not life threatening.

Three other Fayetteville men have already been arrested, and more arrests are forthcoming, according to police.

Stephan Perkins, 26, faces charges of being an accomplice to terroristic threatening, hindering apprehension/prosecution, being felon in possession of a firearm and engaging in a violent group activity.

Walter Green, 31, faces the same charges and a charge of tampering with evidence. Police said he was seen trying to pick up bullet shell casings in the street.

Adrian Smith, 35, faces a charge of hindering apprehension.

Officers were called to a residence in the 1200 block of N. Boxley Ave. around 5:15 p.m. Thursday in reference to shots fired.

Witnesses told police that Green pulled a handgun out during a loud argument with neighbors who he had been in a fight with earlier that day, reports state. Shortly afterward, gunfire was exchanged between Green, Perkins and another neighbor.

“Evidence suggests multiple caliber guns were fired from multiple shooters,” a report states.

Bullet holes were found in a vehicle more than 60 yards away in the heavily populated residential area.

Witnesses told police that another shooter, now identified as Wilson-Moore, opened fire as he drove by the group, but police say Green and Perkins would not identify that shooter.

A fourth person was questioned as a witness in the shooting and was arrested on a warrant in Texas, which is not connected to Thursday’s shooting.
