HEAVENER (KFSM) -- Three days after a potential threat happened at Heavener Public Schools, officials have released additional information about the matter.
The suspect is a student of Heavener schools, according to Heavener Police Chief Ty Armstrong.
The suspect told police he wrote threats as a prank, a news release states. The suspect will be prosecuted in juvenile court.
Heavener Public Schools received threats Jan 26.
Students said a note was found in a bathroom threatening those that go to school. A notice was sent to parents and guardians Thursday night that the school is taking precautions.
There was also a potential threat made at Howe Schools.
