Hickory Creek Marina is ready for a big summer at Beaver Lake.
Susan Whitehouse and her husband have owned the place for a couple years now, and they've been pouring their love into the facility ever since.
The marina and caters to fishermen, campers, boaters, skiers and even has a great eatery known as The Bluffs Restaurant at Hickory Creek open on weekends. It features smoked meats and a good country breakfast.
It's one of only two restaurants actually on the lake.
Hickory Creek Marina is the perfect place to go if you'd like to hit the water... but don’t have a boat.
The folks at Hickory Creek have boat rentals, and there's a boat ready for just about any size group or family.
Whitehouse says most people choose the pontoon boats because they make for an easy day on the water.
“You can park it and swim off it. You can also go from here to Horseshoe or War Eagle. You can bring your pole and fish off it and even bring your dogs,” said Whitehouse.
Once you see the facility you’ll be hooked on the Hickory Creek Marina, and your family likely will be too.
