FORT SMITH (KFSM) - Hundreds of people lined the streets in Fort Smith on Saturday (Dec. 13) for their 74th annual downtown Christmas Parade.
The parade festivities kicked off around 1 p.m. on Saturday along Garrison Avenue.
"It's good for the community, it's good for the area and it's good to see people get out," said Buell Richmond, a resident in Fort Smith. "You know it hasn't been the nicest weather, but we've got a good day today so it's a good time."
The parade featured local bands, dance teams, floats and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
