SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Josh Duggar is now facing legal trouble, after a porn star told In Touch Weekly magazine that she is suing the “19 Kids and Counting” star for battery.
Danica Dillon, an adult entertainer, said in court documents that Duggar committed battery against her twice during sexual encounters in March and April.
Dillon said he “physically assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries” in the documents. She is requesting $500,000 in damages.
Additionally, the lawsuit could bring up Duggar’s past sexual misconduct.
“The defendant may be subject to [having to talk about] his prior bad [or] sexually abusive acts at trial,” Danica’s attorney Marc Frumer told In Touch. “They are all relevant if he takes the stand.”
Dillon told In Touch that Duggar bought $600 in private dances, and paid $1,500 for her company.
After his name appeared on the list of Ashley Madison users in August, Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on his wife and having a porn addiction. He checked in to a long-term rehab facility on Aug. 25.
“The defendant has a history of sexual and physical abuse towards women, particularly those he perceives as vulnerable or weak,” Frumer said to In Touch. “He has to be held responsible for his actions.”
In May, allegations became public that Duggar was accused of molesting five underage girls as a teen.
