FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- A local food truck is helping people get into the holiday spirit by serving up a Thanksgiving themed menu. The food truck is called "Truckin' Delicious," and they're cooking up some festive food that will leave you wanting more even after the holiday season.
The food truck's specialty is the 'Thanksgiving Sandwich.' They've been serving up the dish since the beginning of the month.
How to make the sandwich is simple. First, you toast a bun, grill up some leftover turkey and dressing, then you make a mixed spread of mayo, cranberries, and pecans. Finally, you layer everything together and add some spring mix for some texture.
Tasha Taylor, owner of "Truckin' Delicious," said this sandwich will satisfy anyone after the holiday. "It's something that is very comforting and makes people think of family and friends."
Taylor has always had a passion for cooking. "I love bringing a good food experience to people and bring a smile to their faces," said Taylor.
"Truckin' Delicious" is based out of Fort Smith and is parked along Rogers Avenue right across from Central Mall. The food truck is open Tuesday through Friday.
