CHARLESTON (KFSM) – The results are in and the Maggie House in Charleston came out on top as the winner of Arkansas Gives Day last week.
The one-day initiative works to raise money for non-profits around the natural state.
The Maggie House is a facility currently under construction in Charleston for abused and neglected children. Once construction is complete, the Maggie House will serve children from the following counties: Sebastian, Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Johnson, Scott and Yell Counties.
The Charleston Chamber of Commerce will hold a special reception for the Maggie House Saturday night (April 11). At that reception, leaders with the Maggie House will receive a check for $100,008.
