FORT SMITH (KFSM) - The owners of the Red Barn Steakhouse in Fort Smith have decided not to rebuild their restaurant after it caught fire on July 23, according to Virginia Crotzer, a former manager of the restaurant and current secretary.
The barn was first constructed in 1947, and it has been open for business for more than 50 years.
Crotzer said that the owners told her it would be too expensive to rebuild the steakhouse. So, they decided not to reopen the iconic restaurant.
The restaurant was located at 3716 Newlon Rd.
