FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Pinnacle Foods announced Thursday (Aug. 18) that it plans to expand its food manufacturing in Fayetteville.
The company plans on adding a new brand line that will add 25 new jobs in the Fayetteville facility over a period of two years.
The new brand line, EVOL, is a line that contains cage-free eggs, no antibiotics, no artificials and no GMOs.
“We appreciate the assistance provided by the State of Arkansas and Arkansas Economic Development Corporation as we relocate a portion of the EVOL brand manufacturing operations to our Fayetteville, Arkansas, facility,” said Mike Wittman, Pinnacle Foods executive vice president and chief supply officer.
Pinnacle has a sales office in Bentonville and a manufacturing facility in Fayetteville. The Fayetteville facility employs 420 full-time, making it the largest private employer in the city.
