WASHINGTON (KFSM) — The United States Post Office is celebrating the 65th anniversary of the “Peanuts” comic strip and the 50th anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” with a set of special edition Forever Stamps.
The stamps will launch at a dedication ceremony Thursday (Oct. 1) at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa California, according to a USPS press release. This event will coincide with the beginning of National Stamp Collecting Month in October.
There are 10 different designs with scenes from the Christmas special. They will be available nationwide starting Oct. 1.
