PRAIRIE GROVE (KFSM) — Prairie Grove police and the federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are investigating the theft of more than 70 guns from an Ace Hardware last week.
Police said the suspects broke in around 3 a.m. on Friday (Feb. 15) and stole 79 firearms from the store at 106 W. Buchanan St. Guns taken include pistols, revolves and long rifles. The owner of Ace Hardware in Prairie Grove told 5NEWS the thieves smashed the back door of his business to get in.
The ATF and National Shooting Sports Foundation are each offering $5,000 rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
