A man was arrested after Rogers Police say he impersonated a police officer.
Travis Lee Blake France, 24 of Rogers, was arrested Wednesday after two employees at the Kum & Go, located at 1701 West New Hope Road called police saying he had come in claiming he was a police officer.
Rogers Police say the employees did not believe he was actually a police officer.
Employees another Rogers Kum & Go, located at 2400 West Hudson Road, also told police that France had come into their store claiming he was a police officer and showed them a Law Enforcement Badge.
Investigators found a Gentry Police Officer badge, a light bar, and siren in France’s vehicle, according to Rogers Police.
He was arrested by the Rogers Police Department on a charge of Criminal Impersonation in the 1st Degree, Class D Felony.
France has an additional charge of Emergency Lights and Sirens -Prohibited Person, a Class A Misdemeanor.
He is being held at the Benton County Sheriff’s Office awaiting a bond hearing.
