WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Three men were arrested in a burglary investigation on Tuesday (Sept. 9), deputies say.
Ronald D. Hale, 53, of Canehill, Ronald A. Hale, 24, of Lincoln, and Shawn R. Sewell, 29, of Lincoln were booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Sept. 9, and all three face charges of residential burglary, theft of property, possessing instruments of crime, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, according to deputies.
On Tuesday evening deputies were called to a residence in southwest Washington County in response to a burglary. The owner of the home that was burglarized gave authorities a description of three men that left in a vehicle when she got back home, deputies said.
Authorities later found the vehicle and stopped it, finding the suspects inside. The victim’s property was found with the men, along with rubber gloves, bolt cutters, pry bars and other tools that would be used to commit a burglary, according to deputies.
A gram of marijuana was also located, along with a black pipe containing burnt pot residue, deputies said.
