A train collided with a UPS truck in Stilwell, Oklahoma around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol dispatchers.
The UPS truck driver was pulling out of the Farmer’s Co-Op driveway, just off Highway 59 when he was struck by a Kansas City Southern Railways train.
An eyewitness told Stilwell Democrat Journal they saw the driver in an ambulance talking to his wife on the phone. OHP dispatcher said the man was not hurt.
The crossing has a stop sign, but it does not have lights, according to Micky Longshore with Farmer’s Co-Op.
The truck was pushed down the track several feet, witnesses said. The train was an engine pulling one box car, according to the newspaper. It was not derailed.
