JOHNSON COUNTY (KFSM) — Three men are facing first-degree murder charges, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Phillip Raible, 29, Brian White, 21, and Isaac Vaughn, 20, were booked into the Johnson County Jail this weekend.
Each suspects bond has been set at $750,000. The sheriff’s office said the arrests are the result of an investigation that lasted over three weeks.
A body was found on Jan. 22 off of Highway 123, in the northeastern part of the county.
Investigators confirmed Wednesday (Jan. 24) that the body was connected to the murder investigation.
The victim was identified as Vernice “Duwane” Ledbetter, who was last seen on Dec. 31, 2017 in Johnson County.
