GREEN FOREST (KFSM) – Two students were injured in a Carroll County school bus crash on Monday (April 13) at 3:38 p.m., police say.
The crash took place three miles east of Green Forest on U.S. 62, according to a crash report.
A 2010 Green Forest School District bus was driving east with 21 student passengers onboard when a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driving behind the bus crashed into it, the report states. The school bus was slowing down to let students out at their home, police said.
The truck was being driven by Michael W. Fulton, 58, of Alpena, and he was cited for careless and prohibited driving, according to the report.
The two injured students were taken to Mercy Hospital in Berryville, police said. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, the report states.
