(KFSM) – The University of Arkansas Provost has accepted a job as the president of the University of Toledo.
Sharon Gaber has been the provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas since May 1, 2009.
She accepted the position at the University of Toledo at a ceremony on Thursday (March 12).
Gaber previously served as interim provost at Auburn University. She holds a Ph.D. of City and Regional Planning from Cornell University, according to the University of Arkansas website.
