LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) – A verdict has been made in the Arron Lewis trial. Lewis charged in the murder and kidnapping of central Arkansas real estate agent Beverly Carter.
Arron Lewis has been found guilty of Capital Murder and Kidnapping. He has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Carter disappeared Sept. 25, 2014 when she was showing a home in Scott, Arkansas. Large search parties gathered in the area to search for her. After four days of searching, nothing was found.
Information developed by investigators on the morning Sept. 30, 2014 led them to a location in the Pulaski County area of Cabot where her body was found in a shallow grave.
