ROGERS (KFSM) -- The War Eagle Mill was put up for sale this week.
According to an online posting, the 1.1 acre property is on sale for $675,000.
A representative for the owner said she decided to sell the property to reduce her holdings now that she is of a more "seasoned age." The future of the mill will be decided by the buyer.
The original mill was built in 1832. The mill was destroyed and rebuilt three times. The 1973 version is what stands along the banks of War Eagle Creek today. Part of the mill had be rebuilt in 2016 after major flooding in December 2015.
The mill is home to a shop, which sells War Eagle Mill products, and Bean Palace Cafe. It is also the location for the War Eagle Mill Fall Arts and Crafts Fair each October. However, this site does not host the War Eagle Fair, which takes place across the creek.
