Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department announced that the Wilson Park Pool will open Friday, June 1, one week earlier than originally scheduled.
“The mild winter has resulted in Fayetteville school children being released for summer break earlier than anticipated this year, so we want to open the pool a little earlier making it truly feel like summer for Fayetteville families,” Jordan said in a statement.
The pool opens at 4:00 p.m. on June 1, and admission is free.
After June 1, regular admission is $2 for youth ages 15 and under and $3 for adults. More information can be found at www.accessfayetteville.org.
