SAN DIEGO (KSWB) – Two San Diego women were completely shocked when they found a 5-foot Colombian Rainbow Constrictor slithering out of their office toilet.
Stephanie Lacsa and Holly Wells are the co-founders of Vertical PR + Marketing, and they found the water in the toilet was higher than usual. Lacsa said she grabbed a plunger and noticed something was coming out of the toilet.
The business woman saw a flickering tongue, screamed and ran out of the bathroom screaming.
San Diego County Department of Animal Services arrived and walked into the bathroom, which Lacsa admitted to taping shut. The snake had completely left the toilet and was coiled up behind the toilet.
Daniel De Sousa with SD County Animal Services said the constrictor bit one of the handlers during the removal process.
De Sousa said the snake was probably someone’s pet, and it was not something that came from a sewer.
Lacsa said she received word from her landlord that a tenant in the same building had a snake that probably got lost. However, the tenant could not be found.
