Pedestrian dies after being hit by semi-truck in LeFlore County

The pedestrian, who was identified as 42-year-old Roger Cody of Cameron, was pronounced dead at the scene.

CAMERON, Okla. — A 42-year-old man died after being struck by a semi-truck in LeFlore County around 11 a.m. on June 17, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). 

OHP says a 2022 Kenworth semi-truck was traveling eastbound on State Highway 112 when the driver struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway at McKeown Road and County Road 1300 in Cameron. 

The pedestrian, who was identified as Roger Cody of Cameron, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was uninjured. 

According to OHP's report, the condition of the driver was "apparently normal." The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
