Philanthropic giving to University of Arkansas tops $211M in fiscal 2024

ARKANSAS, USA — The University of Arkansas concluded its 2024 fiscal year with $92.3 million in new gifts and $118.8 million in cash payments on existing commitments to support students, faculty, programs and capital projects, the university announced in a news release Friday.

During the fiscal year, private gifts provided funding for the establishment of 66 new endowed funds, creating permanent funding for a variety of purposes across the Fayetteville campus.

The $92.3 million raised in fiscal year 2024 includes gifts of cash, gifts-in-kind, planned gifts and new pledges. These gifts support scholarships for students, campus and study-abroad programs, faculty and staff, research and economic development, entrepreneurship and capital projects.
