Rate increase approved for Black Hills Energy

This means that residential customers can expect to see a monthly bill increase of around $10 based on an average monthly usage of 5,300 cubic feet.

ARKANSAS, USA — The Arkansas Public Service Commission approved a rate increase for Black Hills Energy (BHE)  to reflect critical infrastructure investments that meet the growing energy demand.

The increase was approved in Aug. 2024 to go into effect Oct. 2024.

This means that residential customers can expect to see a monthly bill increase of around $10 based on an average monthly usage of 5,300 cubic feet.

The increase for commercial customers will vary based on rate class, load factors, and usage, according to BHE.
