Report released on 82-year-old struck, killed by vehicle in Logan County

The report, released by the Department of Public Safety, says that 82-year-old William Carpenter was hit by a vehicle on April 6 at around 8:16 p.m.

BOONEVILLE, Ark. — A Booneville man was struck and killed by a vehicle in April, according to a new report.

The report, released by the Department of Public Safety (DPS), says that 82-year-old William Carpenter was hit by a vehicle on April 6 at around 8:16 p.m.

Carpenter was struck near 42 W Main St. 

The report says that the vehicle was traveling east when Carpenter attempted to cross the street and was struck.

Arkansas State Police investigated the crash and said that conditions were clear and dry.
