FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Simmons Food Plants in the River Valley are continuing to cancel some shifts into Thursday (Feb. 18) due to inclement weather.
Simmons is canceling the 1st and 2nd shifts Thursday.
Both locations in Van Buren as well as the Fort Smith location have been impacted by the closure.
The decision to close impacts 1,550 employees.
Locations impacted:
- Fort Smith - 8427 State Hwy 45
- Van Buren - 2101 Twin Circle Drive
- Van Buren - 5 Main Street
