Chick-fil-A in Fort Smith closed temporarily

Mitchell Kelley, the owner and operator of the Fort Smith fast-food restaurant said there are two things they will be working on.

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Chick-Fil-A in Fort Smith announced it is closing for renovations on March, 13.

Mitchell Kelley, the owner and operator of the Fort Smith fast-food restaurant said there are two things they will be working on. One of those things is the drive-thru experience. Kelley said they will be renovating the interior of the restaurant to help the drive-thru serve "more efficiently."

The second thing is the complete renovation of the dining room. Kelley said they will be adding a new dining room, new tile and new chairs for a complete refresh.

How long will it be closed for?

The renovations will take approximately 3-6 weeks. Kelley said the restaurant will provide updates including pictures and videos to show the process.

"We can't wait to introduce you to your new and improved hometown Chick-fil-A," said Kelley.
