ROGERS, Ark. — The Rogers Police Department (RPD) responded to Rogers High School (RHS) Wednesday afternoon for an "ongoing investigation," according to school district spokesperson, Jason Ivester.
Ivester said Rogers Public Schools cooperated with RPD for the investigation but "at no time was there any danger to students or staff."
Keith Foster, the public information officer for RPD, says that police were on campus investigating a computer crime accusation involving a teacher at RHS. No students are involved.
The release said they had to "move some students" to another location to "facilitate the investigation," but nothing threatening was found, according to Ivester.
"The safety of our students and staff is always the top priority at Rogers Public Schools. To our knowledge, nothing was found in the investigation that posed any threat to staff or students," Ivester said.
The details of the investigation were not immediately released. Stay with 5NEWS for updates.
