One dead, one injured in Bentonville car crash

One person is dead and another is injured after a car crash in Bentonville on Jan. 25.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — One man is dead and another is injured after a car crash in Bentonville on Thursday morning. 

An Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS) crash report says that the incident took place on Greenhouse Road and Quailridge Way in Bentonville around 9:00 a.m. on Jan. 25.

Jeffrey Beierle, 31, of Rogers, was killed in the crash. A 70-year-old from Centerton was injured. 

The report says that Beierle was traveling north on Greenhouse Road when he drove to the right of the roadway and collided with the curb. 

Beierle then crossed the centerline, hitting the 70-year-old's vehicle head-on, the report said. Both drivers were transported to Northwest Medical Center.

The report notes that the road was wet and that it was foggy or raining.
