ROGERS, Ark. — The Rogers Public Schools (RPS) School Board approved a maximum price for the planned remodel of Oakdale Middle School during a meeting on Dec. 12.
The guaranteed maximum price for the project was set at $43,812,359 and approved by the board.
"We're very excited about the updates for Oakdale Middle School," RPS Director of Communications Jason Ivester said.
Hight-Jackson is the architect on the project and Flintco is the construction management company for the project.
"The project will include an upgrade in technology, creating an access-controlled entry vestibule, a new HVAC system, an updated electrical system, new LED lights, a remodeled cafeteria and media center, a new administration area, construction of a new competition gymnasium that can house all students, and a modern athletic facility to replace the current field house," Ivester said.
The project is scheduled to begin on Dec. 18 and end in August 2026.
