Samaritan's Purse helping Arkansas disaster victims without insurance

According to the organization, "This is a free service provided to those who have little or no insurance."

ARKANSAS, USA — Samaritan's Purse, an international disaster relief organization, traveled to Arkansas last week after tornadoes struck multiple areas of the state during Memorial Day weekend. 

The organization is helping locals with chainsaw work, temporary roof tarping, removal of personal property and furniture and more. 

According to the organization, "This is a free service provided to those who have little or no insurance." Samaritan's Purse said the help is provided based on "need and volunteer availability."

According to its website, the organization plans to stay in Arkansas for over a month. Volunteers are being scheduled up until July 13.
