Man dies after crash in LeFlore County

According to the crash report, a freightliner propane truck was headed westbound on Highway 63 when it the incident happened.

LE FLORE COUNTY, Okla. — One person was found dead after a semi crash took place in LeFlore County on April 9, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP). 

According to the crash report, a freightliner propane truck was headed westbound on Highway 63 when it the incident happened at around 6:50 a.m. The report states the semi "went off the roadway" then "overcorrected" causing the driver to be ejected into a tree. 

The driver, 62-year-old Jimmy Howze of Whitesboro, was pronounced dead at the scene by LeFlore County EMS, the report states.
