SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. — According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), a crash on the evening of Sept. 26 killed one person and injured another.

OHP has not released a full report on the circumstances leading up to the crash, but they have confirmed that around 9:40 p.m. a 1998 Ford Taurus driven by Robert Jaramillo, 38, of Coquille Oregon, was involved in a crash with a 2014 Cadillac driven by an unnamed person.

The crash, on I-40 westbound near Vian, reportedly pinned both drivers for around an hour, killing one and leaving the other with severe head, leg, and internal injuries.
