Man pleads guilty to arson in Indian Country

According to the release, 24-year-old Trevor McGuire allegedly "willfully and maliciously set fire to a dwelling" in Sequoyah County.

SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla — A Muldrow man pleaded guilty to arson in Indian Country, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

According to the release, 24-year-old Trevor McGuire allegedly "willfully and maliciously set fire to a dwelling" in Sequoyah County within the Cherokee Nation Reservation. 

The investigation was held by the Muldrow Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. 

According to the release, McGuire is in custody awaiting his sentencing.
